An official Penn wall calendar says students get an additional day off during Thanksgiving break.
Courses resume, the calendar reads, on Tuesday Nov. 28.
Unfortunately for students who booked flights based on the wall calendar, this is not the case.
According to the official University-wide calendar available on Penn's Web site, classes actually resume 8 a.m. Monday. University-published day planners with campus events also list the correct date on which Thanksgiving vacation ends.
The calendar - which features photographs of Penn's campus - is published by Penn Student Agencies and is available at the Penn Bookstore.
College senior Uzy Igweatu and Penn Student Agencies employee is the director of PSA publications, according to the calendar.
It mentions major University-wide events, including varsity sports team schedules and campus group performances.
The calendar acknowledges that the schedule is accurate as of its publication in June, and that dates and times are subject to change.
