College sophomore Lauren Eskreis-Winkler doesn't expect students to rely on Penn Course Review or word of mouth to decide which classes to take.
Instead, she has developed a Web site called Course Previews that posts video footage of and syllabi from a variety of classes throughout the University, from Africana Studies to Health and Societies to Urban Studies classes.
In her description of the site, Eskreis-Winkler said she hopes it will "relax the time pressures of [the] shopping period by making professors and their courses more accessible" because she feels Penn is "too large to be seen."
The Web site is currently in its first semester and can be seen at www.sas.upenn.edu/~eskreisl.
