Do you have any idea how hard it is to be funny? No, really I'm not kidding. Writing things that are supposed to be uproariously hilarious is a lot of freaking pressure. I sit here all alone in my office racking my brain trying to think of funny captions and headlines; trying to edit things just so, and I never know if it's funny or just extremely lame. I try to ask my friends, but they're just too nice to be honest. And of course my mom doesn't think foul language is funny, so that's a bust. (She doesn't know what she's missing). So I put it to you, the Street reader. Is Summer Street funny? If not, then why don't you start writing? Really, email me, and I can assign you a few things if you think you're so great. As a matter of fact, I need some Give Me 5s written for next week, so have at it.
