M. Tennis clinches share of Ivy title

5-2 win over Columbia gives Quakers first championship since 1971

The Penn men's tennis team defeated Columbia 5-2 on Sunday to clinch at least a share of the Ivy League title for the first time since 1971.

The Quakers end the season at 18-5 and 6-1 in the Ivy League, with their only loss coming against Harvard.

Brown is currently tied with Penn atop the standings, but has two league matches left to play. A loss in either of them will guarantee the Quakers their first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament.
