Theft

- April 10 -- A Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania doctor reported that her wallet, containing $40 and various credit cards, was stolen from the back of her chair while she was dining at the White Dog Cafe at 3420 Sansom St. sometime between 6:45 and 8:50 p.m. April 5.

Robbery

- April 9 -- At about 3:40 a.m., three female Penn students and a visiting female friend reported that a man approached them on the 3400 block of Locust Walk, fired a shot into the air and forced them to hand over their wallets. Police have arrested David Travers, 22, a resident of the 3000 block of Susquehanna Avenue, and Sean Kirk, 20, of Middletown, Del., and charged them with robbery.

Disorderly Conduct

- April 8 -- A Penn student was arrested for disorderly conduct and cited for underage drinking at about 12:50 a.m. on the 3700 block of Spruce Street during Spring Fling. Police say College freshman Anna Moriarty fought verbally with police, causing a crowd to form.

- April 7 -- A 22-year-old Penn student reported that his bicycle, which was secured to a bike rack outside Harrison College House, was stolen. The student had secured the bicycle with a lock at around midnight. The bicycle is a road bike, metallic grey in color and worth approximately $600.

- April 6 -- Engineering sophomore David Solomon was arrested after he allegedly hid a bowl of marijuana behind a parked car at 4100 Spruce St. at about 9:20 p.m. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

- April 4 -- After purchasing items from the Fresh Grocer at 40th and Walnut streets, police say, a man remained inside the store and slipped various food items worth approximately $80 into his bag at about 8:30 p.m. Penn Police arrested Charles Boozer, 70, of the 400 block of Parrish Street. He was charged with receiving stolen property and retail theft.
