Penn spotted Yale a 16-1 lead Saturday night at the Palestra, only to storm back and win easily, 74-52. Eric Osmundson led Penn with 17 points, and was the only starter to hit a field goal in the first half. But the Quakers closed to 33-30 at the half, and then started the second on a 14-1 run to take a lead they would never relinquish.
