Theft

n Dec. 7 -- A female student reported that at approximately 1:30 a.m. her iPod, valued at $375, was taken from a lounge in Spruce College House. The student said that she had left the device momentarily unattended.

n Dec. 6 -- A female University employee reported that, between Dec. 3 and Dec. 6, a Hewlett-Packard printer and a toaster oven, valued at a combined $445, were stolen from Civic House, located at 3914 Locust Walk.

n Dec. 6 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that, between Dec. 2 and Dec. 6, his Dell laptop computer was taken from an unlocked room in the Presbyterian Hospital, located at 51 N. 39th St.

n Dec. 4 -- At approximately 11:20 p.m. a juvenile unaffiliated with the University stole $30 from a donation jar in the Ben and Jerry's located at 218 S. 40th St.

n Dec. 3 -- Anthony White, a 42-year-old unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at approximately 11:30 p.m. for stealing a Blaupunkt car stereo, valued at $700, from a locked red Jeep parked on the 4200 block of Locust Street.

n Dec. 3 -- A female student reported that, between 12 p.m. and 4:50 p.m., her unsecured Huffy bike, valued at $130, was taken from outside 200 S. 34th St.

n Dec. 3 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that, between Nov. 23 and Dec. 3, his laptop computer, valued at $2,000, was taken from a room in the Presbyterian Hospital.

n Dec. 2 -- A male student reported that, between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., his secured Huffy mountain bike, valued at $200, was taken from outside the Annenberg Center, located at 3680 Walnut St.

n Dec. 2 -- A female student reported that, between approximately 4:50 p.m. and 5 p.m., her unattended IBM laptop computer, valued at $2,000, was taken from Van Pelt Library, located at 3420 Walnut St.

n Dec. 2 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that, between 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 and 4:15 a.m., on Dec. 2 her pearl necklace was stolen from the front seat of her unlocked, unattended car outside the Kappa Alpha Theta house, located at 3817 Walnut St.

n Dec. 2 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that, between Nov. 22 and Dec. 1, his laptop and software, valued at a combined $2,000, were taken from an unlocked room in the Presbyterian Hospital.

Auto Theft

n Dec. 5 -- Ronald Coleman, a male unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for stealing a 1994 Saturn from the 3600 block of Spruce Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. The car, which had been left unattended with the keys in the ignition, was recovered moments later by Penn Police on the 3800 block of Spruce Street.
