Theft

Nov. 22 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that her locked Kona mountain bicycle, valued at $450, was taken from 3500 Market St. between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Nov. 22 -- A female staff member reported that her locked, dark green Reilly three-speed folding bicycle, valued at $125 including the basket in the rear, was taken from 3440 Market St. between 5 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 12 p.m. on Nov. 22.

Nov. 22 -- Henry Taylor, a 36-year-old unaffiliated with the University, was arrested by Penn Police at approximately 10:55 a.m. for allegedly attempting to steal $100 worth of alcohol from the Marathon Grill, located at 200 S. 40th St.

Nov. 21 -- A male student reported that his backpack, containing a laptop computer and cell phone valued at a combined $2,500, was taken from an unlocked room in David Rittenhouse Laboratory, located at 209 S. 33rd St. The items had been left unattended between approximately 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Nov. 20 -- A male student reported that between Oct. 1 and Nov. 20, his Schwinn bicycle, valued at $140, was taken from Sansom East, located at 3600 Chestnut St.

Nov. 18 -- A male student reported that his locked bicycle was taken from 3600 Hamilton Walk.

Nov. 17 -- A male student reported that his locked bike was taken from outside Harnwell College House, located at 3820 Locust Walk.

Nov. 16 -- A male staff member reported that his locked bicycle was taken from 3200 South St. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Nov. 16 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that her orange backpack, containing $15 as well as her papers, was taken from her unlocked car at 4200 Pine St. between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Auto Theft

Nov. 19 -- A female staff member reported that between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., her locked 1998 green Nissan Maxima, valued at $6,000, was stolen from a parking lot at 3301 Chestnut St.

Disorderly Conduct

Nov. 18 -- Garrett Tate, a 48-year-old unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for resisting arrest when police asked him to identify himself in Van Pelt Library, located at 3420 Walnut St. Tate was carrying a concealed book when police approached him at approximately 8:30 p.m.
