Theft
n Nov. 9 -- The manager of Ben and Jerry's reported that, at approximately 2:30 p.m., an off-duty employee was observed breaking into a locked cash box and taking $40.
n Nov. 8 -- A female University employee reported that, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., her pocketbook containing identification, credit cards and $500 cash was taken from her unlocked, unsecured office in the Franklin Building, located at 3451 Walnut St.
n Nov. 7 -- A male student reported that, between 8:45 a.m. and 11 p.m., his blue, 26-inch Panasonic racing bicycle, valued at $200, was taken from a bike rack outside Steinhardt Hall, located at 215 S. 39th St. The bike was not locked to the bike rack.
n Nov. 7 -- A female student reported that, between 3 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., her red Fuji bicycle, valued at $250, was taken from 34th Street and Locust Walk, near the Van Pelt Library.
n Nov. 6 -- A male student reported that his bicycle, valued at $500, was taken from outside Harrison College House, located at 3910 Irving St., between 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 6.
n Nov. 5 -- A female employee reported that, at approximately 3:10 p.m., her silver Vertex laptop valued at $1,300 was taken from an unlocked office in Huntsman Hall, located at 3730 Walnut St.
n Nov. 5 -- A female employee reported that at approximately 2:15 p.m., her wallet containing assorted identification, credit cards and an unspecified amount of cash was taken from room 459 of the Vagelos Laboratories, located at 3340 Smith Walk.
n Nov. 4 -- A female staff member reported that, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., her black pocketbook containing identification, credit cards and $50 cash was taken from her unlocked office at 3535 Market St.
n Nov. 2 -- A male student reported that, between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., his locked Diamondback Outlook mountain bike, valued at $250, was taken from outside the Law School, located at 3460 Chestnut St.
Auto Theft
n Nov. 2 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that, at approximately 3 p.m., her 1994 Nissan Maxima, valued at $4,500, was taken from outside the Levy Tennis Pavilions, located at 3130 Walnut St.
Trespassing
n Nov. 3 -- Mark Jones, an 18-year-old unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for trespassing in Pottruck Health and Fitness Center, located at 3701 Walnut St. Police said Jones had attempted to gain entry to the Pottruck Center on numerous occasions and been denied.
