Submit a Reader Review in the new Dining Guide at dailypennsylvanian.com and you'll automatically be entered in a contest to win an iPod mini or one of three $100 gift certificates to a top Philadelphia restaurant.
Our goal is to make this online Dining Guide the best resource for restaurant and bar information for the Penn community. Our database has more than 600 establishments in West Philadelphia, Center City, South Philly and Manayunk, with more searchable details than any other restaurant site. But to make this the ultimate dining guide for and by Penn students, faculty and staff, we need your input, in the form of mini-restaurant reviews. And each time you enter your comments, you'll be entering the contest.
It's this easy: (1) Go to dailypennsylvanian.com and click on the Dining link. (2) Search for a restaurant you've recently eaten at. (3) Click on the search results link to go to the restaurant's details page. (4) Scroll down to the Reader Reviews heading, and click on the "Add Review" (5) Enter your mini-review of the establishment in the pop-up screen.
When you submit your entry and reply to the confirmation email message, your review will be added to this site so your views will be shared with others in the Penn community -- and you'll be entered in the contest. The more reviews you enter, the better you'll help us make this site -- and the more times you'll be entered.
(Okay, it's a contest for free stuff, so you knew there had to be some "fine print." Each review must be at least 20 words, and there is a maximum of five contest entries per person per week. This contest is open to all Penn students, faculty, and staff members, and you must use your upenn.edu email address to submit your review. There will be a weekly drawing for a restaurant gift certificate from the week's submissions, and all entries will be eligible for the grand prize drawing for an Apple iPod mini. The contest is scheduled to run from October 5 through November 1; all prizes will be awarded, but The Daily Pennsylvanian reserves the right to extend the contest period.)
