Penn's Fels Institute of Government recently appointed former Deputy Director Christopher Patusky to the position of executive director.
Patusky will still serve under Director Lawrence Sherman, but will take on the sectors of operations, finances and research projects as additional responsibilities.
A Fels graduate himself, Patusky has been working at the institute for almost three years.
"I was thrilled to be deputy director, but I'm even more thrilled that Fels gave me this opportunity to do more," Patusky said.
Patusky said his overarching goal as executive director will be "to continue to have a larger impact on government practices in Philadelphia and beyond."
