Fraud
n Sept. 24 -- A female University staff member reported that at approximately 3 p.m., she was notified at the Kinko's at 3923 Walnut St. of fraudulent charges on her debit card as early as Sept. 16. The female also reported that her pocketbook was missing credit cards and identification.
n Sept. 24 -- A female student reported that credit cards were taken from her unattended handbag at 3600 Chestnut St. She reported that nearly $4,000 has been charged to the cards. n Sept. 23 -- A female affiliated with the University reported that on this morning her pocketbook was taken from her office at 3535 Market St., and that $2,000 had been charged to her credit cards.
Theft
n Sept. 25 -- A male student reported that, between Sept. 19 and 25, the inspection sticker was cut out from his Jeep parked at 100 41st St.
n Sept. 25 -- A male unaffiliated with the University was arrested at approximately 7 p.m. for allegedly attempting to steal six pairs of Diesel jeans, valued at $1,000, from the Urban Outfitters store at 100 S. 36th St.
n Sept. 25 -- A male student reported that his LeMond bicycle was stolen from the stairwell of an unlocked building at 4015 Walnut St. sometime between Sept. 19 and 20. The bike is valued at $800.
n Sept. 23 -- A female University staff member reported that a petty-cash drawer containing $50 was taken overnight from her office at 3450 Hamilton Walk. There were no signs of force in the removal of the drawer.
