Burglary

n May 27 -- John Chase, a 44-year-old male unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at 3:22 p.m. after he attempted to leave Bennett Hall at 3340 Walnut St. with a Dell computer worth about $2,000.

Fraud

n May 28 -- Arnold Hinton, a 45-year-old male unaffiliated with the University, was arrested after attempting to cash a stolen check worth $1,300 at the Commerce Bank location at 3735 Walnut St. at about 8:40 a.m.

Theft

n May 29 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that the rear window on her car had been broken and a stereo worth approximately $100 had been stolen at about 3:00 p.m. on the 200 block of S. 42nd St.

n May 28 -- Brett Montague, a 26-year-old male unaffiliated with the University, was arrested after attempting to leave the Penn Bookstore at 3601 Walnut St. with three textbooks, worth approximately $320 at about 10:50 a.m.

n May 27 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that her PNC bank card was taken between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. from inside 4000 Locust St.

n May 27 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that the side window on her car had been broken and a green duffel bag, camera, shoes and miscellaneous items, worth a total of $5,300 had been taken from inside her car in front of 20-22 S. 39th St. at about 8:30 p.m.
