After a slow start, the Quakers were able to put away Cornell at Newman Arena to keep their spot atop the Ivy League standings. The 69-66 win gave Penn its third sweep of the Big Red in four seasons.
Senior Jewel Clark led the way for the Quakers (15-8, 9-1 Ivy) with 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting. A balanced attack from the Red and Blue saw eight players with six points or more.
The Penn bench made a statement, outscoring the Big Red reserves, 28-1.

On the night, the Quakers shot 44.1 percent from the field, but made just over half of their foul shots, 11-of-20.
Tanya Karcic and Karen Force provided most of the offense for the Big Red, logging 27 and 23 points, respectively.
Penn will face Columbia on Saturday at Levien Gym in New York.
