Kwak-Hefferan named co-Ivy Player of Week

For the second time this season, Penn senior hitter Elisabeth Kwak-Hefferan has been honored by the Ivy League for her play.

In the Penn volleyball team's first Ivy loss of the season -- Friday against Cornell -- Kwak-Hefferan recorded 27 kills and 20 digs on the night.

Her 27 kills against the Big Red was the second highest total in Penn history. Suzanne Schuman also had 27 in 1984 while the record stands at 28.

The Quakers went on to knock off Columbia, 3-0, on Saturday after the 3-2 loss to Cornell.

Kwak-Hefferan finished the weekend with 40 kills and 31 digs.
