Crime Report

Burglary

March 4 -- Robert Adger, a 19-year-old male unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for burglary. A female University student reported the burglary of her room at Harrison College House, located at 3910 Irving Street, between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. No items were reported missing from her room.March 4 -- A male not affiliated with the University reported the burglary of his home, which is located at 233 S. 33rd Street. Sixteen feet of nail strips, a supply used in construction, were taken at approximately 7:30 a.m. They were valued at $5,400.

Theft

March 4 -- A male not affiliated with the University reported the theft of a jacket from Billybob, a bar located at 4000 Spruce Street. The jacket, which contained several items, was valued at $825.March 3 -- The theft of a laptop computer was reported from the Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute, a University building located at 421 Curie Blvd. The laptop was located inside an unattended office and was valued at $1,900.March 2 -- A female not affiliated with the University reported the theft of her purse at approximately 7:30 p.m. The purse was taken while she was standing at the corner of 34th and Sansom streets. The purse and contents were valued at $400.March 1 -- CVS Pharmacy reported the theft of $223 worth of items at approximately 6:15 p.m. James Whitker, a 24-year-old male not affiliated with the University, was arrested for the theft. CVS is located at 3915 Walnut Street. All information was obtained from the University Police logbook. -- Brooke Daley
