Theft
Feb. 20 -- A male employee of the University reported the theft of a Toshiba laptop from 3801 Market Street between approximately 2 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. The laptop was valued at $1,800. Feb. 20 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported the theft of a wallet in his jacket from 3208 Chestnut Street. The theft occurred between 3:20 p.m. and 4 p.m. The wallet and its contents were valued at $100. Feb. 19 -- A female affiliated with the University reported the theft of a PowerBook computer from the Biomedical Research Building II/III located at 421 Curie Boulevard. The computer was valued at $2,600. Feb. 18 -- A male affiliated with the University reported the theft of a laptop computer from Johnson Pavilion located at 3610 Hamilton Walk. The theft occurred approximately between 8:10 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 18. The laptop was valued at $2,500. Feb. 18 -- A female affiliated with the University reported the theft of a laptop computer from Johnson Pavilion approximately between 6 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 10 a.m. on Feb. 18. The laptop was valued at $2,800. Feb. 18 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported the theft of cell phones and a wallet from 2335 South 33rd Street. The theft occurred at about 4:45 p.m. The items were valued at $1,200.All information was obtained from the University Police logbook. --Brooke Daley
