Allen signs on to Cavs' preseason roster If Allen is picked up by the Cavaliers, it will be his fourth NBA team in three years. Allen was a second-round pick for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1995 draft, but left for Indiana, which then traded him to Denver in the middle of last year. Little attention was paid to Allen's signing last week, since Cleveland was part of the colossal three-team deal which brought Shawn Kemp to the "Mistake by the Lake." -- Scott Miller
