Police nab vehicle Police nab vehicle possibly used in robbery Last night, the car was wrapped in police tape and parked behind the University Police station, across Locust Walk from High Rise North. In the incident -- which occurred shortly after 11 p.m. -- two men robbed two University students at gunpoint on the 200 block of South 42nd Street. The suspects fled the scene in a car matching the description of the one recovered by police. Over the weekend, officers from the University Police Special Response Team -- an elite unit designed to prevent crime through increased visibility as well as undercover patrolling -- spotted the car and had it towed to police headquarters. University Police have not searched the vehicle because they have not yet obtained a search warrant, Detective Commander Tom King said. -- Ian Rosenblum
