A cellular phone and $3 in change were taken between 7:35 p.m. April 21 and 8:45 a.m. April 22.· April 19 -- A cellular phone and radar detector were stolen from a female student's gray Jeep Cherokee which was left unlocked at 41st and Locust streets. The incident occurred between 10:30 and 11 p.m.Theft· April 21 -- A Houston Hall staff person reported that an envelope containing $1,500 in cash was stolen while left unattended in an unsecured room between 12:15 and 12:37 p.m.· April 21 -- A female student's Toshiba laptop computer valued at $2,000 was stolen from a secured room in the Law School between 10 p.m. April 20 and 10 a.m. April 21.· April 20 -- A male student's backpack containing a Sony tape recorder was stolen from his room in High Rise East between 12 p.m. April 19 and 8 a.m. April 20.Credit Card Fraud· April 22 -- A female student reported that $6,000 has been charged to her credit card, which she last saw at the Tuscany Cafe at 34th and Walnut streets March 25.· April 22 -- A female University employee has accumulated $2,400 in charges to her credit card, which was stolen from her unattended pocketbook at Boston Market at 39th and Chestnut streets April 17. Robbery· April 21 -- A male student was robbed at gunpoint at 41st and Spruce streets at approximately 6:05 p.m. A 25-year-old black male of medium build reportedly approached the student and took his wallet containing credit cards and $12.25 in cash.· April 21 -- University Police arrested four juveniles -- three males and one female -- for two robberies at gunpoint. The first incident occurred at 34th and Sansom streets at approximately 3:18 p.m. when the suspects allegedly robbed a male student of $55 in cash. Following this incident, they allegedly robbed a woman at 34th and Walnut streets. They stole her pocketbook and car keys, and then proceeded to take her BMW. Officers arrested the suspects at 44th and Chestnut streets.· April 20 -- Two suspects held up a male student at gunpoint at 43rd and Walnut streets and took $70 in cash. University Police and Southwest Detectives are investigating the incident, which occurred at approximately 11:58 p.m.Purse Snatch· April 19 -- A woman reported that a black male wearing a red windbreaker took her purse at 45th and Chestnut streets at approximately 11:15 a.m.Burglary· April 20 -- Cash amounting to $840 was stolen from the Business Services office in Houston Hall between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.· April 20 -- A female student reported that an unknown person took $80 in cash from her unlocked room in High Rise East at approximately 6 a.m.Theft from Auto· April 22 -- The side door of a green Dodge belonging to a female HUP employee was pried open while parked in the Penn Tower Hotel garage.
