The fraternity brothers were hitting on some of Mehta's female friends during a party last year, and the Internet guru found himself trying to stick up for them. The College sophomore couldn't do a very good job, however, since he was drunk. "Raj got pissed off and was trying to make a snappy remark to make them go away," Wharton sophomore and roommate Eric Kang said. But all poor Raj could think of as a retort was: "Your momma gave me gonorrhea." The next day, the frat guys came looking for the Hill House freshman -- but couldn't find him. That night, Mehta slept with a hammer near his bed but never had to use it. For Mehta, getting drunk is practically a profession. He and his roommates brew beer, much to the delight of neighbor and College sophomore Michelle Weinberg. "It's good when they let us try it," she said. "But he comes in almost every night somewhat drunk -- they like to go to Murph's a lot." Though not always a drinker or beer brewer, Mehta has always been ready to try something new, winning a male beauty contest in high school as "Ravishing Rovena." Decked out in a strapless evening dress, Mehta impressed everyone, especially his long-time girlfriend Kara Spangler. "Raj always seems to be really funny and clowning around," she said.
