Racist remarks in a recent 34th Street movie review appalled us, too. As editors of the newspaper that publishes Street, we add our outrage and shock at this incident to the chorus that began yesterday, with an apology from the magazine's staff. We recognize that one of Penn's strengths is its diversity -- but that this diversity requires an extra measure of sensitivity, especially from the main campus news source. Few of us read the review in question before it was printed -- and some of us didn't even read it afterward. For this reason especially, we encourage all readers to talk back to us when our news or sports coverage, our opinion page or our magazine make you angry, upset or frustrated. We can only change what we do -- and how we do it -- if we know what we've done wrong.
