The Philadelphia Commissioner's office said Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole received 11.5 percent of the ward's votes, while President Clinton captured 88.5 percent. -- Jenny Axt Food services survey to begin this week The Cornyn-Fasano Consulting Group will begin a series of surveys this week to evaluate what food services students, faculty and staff want near campus, according to Marie Witt, Penn's director of business services. The group will complete more than 400 telephone surveys and question more than 600 people on Locust Walk and other parts of campus. -- Andrea Ahles National Theta Xi office grants Penn recognition Penn's chapter of the Theta Xi fraternity received an official charter of recognition from its national office last Saturday at an alumni reception. The chapter already has provisional recognition from the University. To receive full University recognition, the chapter must complete additional documentation, said Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs Director Scott Reikofski. Theta Xi President Bill Belden, a College senior, said he hopes the University will recognize the fraternity by the end of the semester. -- Tammy Reiss
