New frat to recruitNew frat to recruiton campus this week The InterFraternity Council approved colonization of the fraternity at Penn on September 11, and placed it on provisional recognition status. According to Brett Manning, the fraternity's educational leadership consultant, nine Penn students have already joined the fraternity's Penn chapter. Under IFC guidelines, Lambda Chi Alpha can only recruit sophomores, juniors and seniors until bid day of spring rush, when freshmen will also be eligible. Students interested in joining Lambda Chi Alpha should contact the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs. – Tammy Reiss Macs installed in McClelland Hall Six Macintosh computers were installed in McClelland Hall yesterday to offer relief for the overcrowding in other Quadrangle computer labs, according to Housing and Residence Life Acting Director Chris Dennis. "This cluster is something of an experiment for us all," Dennis said. Although on-site support will be minimal, the computers are intended for students interested in simply checking their e-mail accounts or printing out documents, at cost. The printers, however, will be located in the Bodine computer lab in Upper Quad. – Randi Feigenbaum
