The Daily Pennsylvanian

Changes to 'DP' editorial board

In this role, Kahn will be responsible for working closely with reporters on writing, reporting, and source cultivating. He will also lead a newly formed team of investigative reporters. A five-semester reporter at the newspaper, Kahn served as managing editor for the spring semester. He led the editorial side of the newspaper, which includes 150 staff members. In a meeting held earlier this month, the business and editorial boards of the newspaper elected former Summer Pennsylvanian Editor-In-Chief Daniel Gingiss as managing editor. Gingiss, who was one of several nominees for the position, worked as a reporter for five semesters and held such beats as minority affairs, greek life, and student life. He also has written for both 34th Street Magazine and the DP's sports section. "The board is looking forward to a productive fall semester," Executive Editor Charles Ornstein said. "We have a lot of changes in store for the paper."
