Last Thursday the Black Student League and the Korean Student Association did just that. The groups organized a forum to discuss race stereotypes and misconceptions. We applaud the efforts of these two groups because only through proactive measures like this can we all come to a true understanding and appreciation of each other's backgrounds and accept our differences. The forum seemed to be meaningful for all involved and we urge both groups to continue to meet. Furthermore, we hope that the success of this forum will provide inspiration for other groups to organize similar forums and communicate with each other as well.
