Rendell and Fernandez will make the announcement today at noon in the Mayor's Reception Room. Brad Johnson, Fernandez's transportation projects coordinator, said the campaign will include posters and radio and television announcements. He said the program was underway before the four pedestrian and bicycle accidents in the past two months on campus. Johnson added that the timing is "purely coincidental." --Keith Huebsch
