This past week has been filled with Hank Gathers championship action. Krug was the only Penn player who made it through. In the quarterfinals he scored 14 against WDAS, semi-finals scored 3 points against Pittman Scott, in the finals he scored 7 points The last three seconds he would rather forget. He fouled Terquin Mott from the Warren/Welsh Thomson squad in the last three seconds, which let to two foul shots and the Warren/Welsh Thomson squad seized the victory right out from underneath Spectrum. Krug finished with 7 points in the effort, Mott finished with 20 points. At one point Spectrum was up by as many as 10 points, but blew it. They couldn't stop Faron "Meatball" Hand who scored 30 points. Spectrum was helped out by Andre Griffin, a Delaware State player who racked up 25 points, Carlin Worsky from St.Joes scored 21 points, Jeffrey Meyers 19 from Drexel.
