Steve Fluherty, an associate professor in the Veterinary School, was named the new director of the Biological Basis of Behavior program by School of Arts and Sciences Dean Rosemary Stevens. Department of Psychology Chairperson John Sabini described Fluherty as "highly energetic, well-liked and extremely well-regarded." He added that Fluherty's history with the program as an undergraduate makes him perfect for the job. "He was one of the first Biological Basis of Behavior majors," Sabini said. "[His] individualized passionate commitment biological neuroscience cuts across departments."
