Professor of Criminology and Law Marvin Wolfgang was recently named the "most influential criminologist in the English-speaking world," according to a paper that appeared in the Spring 1994 issue of the British Journal of Criminology. Wolfgang is also the director of the Sellin Center for Studies in Criminology and Criminal Law at the University, and currently serves as the president of the American Academy of Political and Social Science. -- Daniel Gingiss
