So during the summer they are holding weekly "informal gatherings" -- just to socialize. Bob Schoenberg, coordinator of the Program for the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Community at Penn, said the gatherings provide "opportunities for lesbian, gay and bisexual students to socialize during the summer because there aren't a lot of opportunities for that kind of socializing." Light refreshments are served at the gatherings, which have "no agenda," according to Schoenberg.
