The University is seeking a director for the African American Resource Center, Acting Center Director Isabel Sampson-Mapp said this week. A search committee of faculty, graduate and undergraduate students will review applications recommended by a private search firm in New York, Sampson-Mapp said. Dental School Dean Raymond Fonseca will serve as chairperson of the committee. Resource Center Director and Assistant to the Provost Allen Green leaves the University today to become College dean at Wesleyan University. Until a replacement is found, Sampson-Mapp will serve as acting director. -- Jorie Green
