A replacement for College Dean Matthew Santirocco has not been selected yet, School of Arts and Sciences Secretary Anne Viggiano said yesterday. The length of the interval "depends on who accepts the job," Viggiano said. "At this point no one has been named," she added. The Student Committee on Undergraduate Education recommended a list of 20 individuals for the position to School of Arts and Sciences dean Rosemary Stevens in April. But Viggiano said Stevens will select the new College dean herself. Stevens was unavailable for comment. Santirocco announced plans to leave the University for a position at New York University as School of Arts and Sciences dean in March. -- Jorie Green
