According to new General Manager Connie Louie, the new restaurant will serve many "brand new items," including a more "extensive" salad bar, a hot Sunday brunch and "really exciting" gourmet desserts -- including the "Boccie ball," an ice cream ball with sorbet, covered in chocolate. In addition, the restaurant will be completely remodeled, sporting its own full-service cappuccino bar and replacing the old frozen yogurt shop with a Jack and Jill's Nirvana ice cream stand But, Louie promised, "the pizzas will be those that everybody has grown to love, on our woodburning stove." Boccie Pizza and Salads is located at the Warehouse, 4040 Locust Street. The old restaurant was closed and sold to its new owners last year. -- Daniel Gingiss
