Kappa Delta President Jessica Gross said the two groups collected money on Locust Walk last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the organization and handed out literature about MANNA, sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS. Gross, a College senior, said red ribbons were also given out to signify that AIDS awareness programs should not happen "just one week for once a year." Kappa Delta sisters and Phi Kap pledges also went to dorms to hand out condoms to students, Gross said. "We wanted to make sure that men and women on campus are aware of AIDS and are capable of protecting themselves," she said. – Paul LaMonica
