Commission holds forum today Commission Chairperson Gloria Chisum will attend the forum, which is designed to get student, faculty and staff views on a variety of issues. Chisum, vice chairperson of the University Board of Trustees, said last week that anyone is welcome to attend. – Cara Tanamachi Stiteler has second bomb scare Stiteler Hall was the subject of a bomb scare Monday for the second time this semester, according to University Police. The Political Science Department received a call warning of a bomb explosion at about 2:30 p.m., according to University Police. University Police responded, and upon finding nothing suspicious in the building, decided not to evacuate those inside. Monday's incident was the latest in a series of bomb threats this semester. The most recent bomb scare occurred October 27 in Vance Hall. Prior to that, there was a bomb scare in Stiteler on October 26, and one in Meyerson Hall on October 25. The DuBois College House was evacuated October 12 after students received racially harassing calls threatening an explosion. – Gregory Montanaro Town meeting will be held tonight The University's second televised town meeting of the semester will take place this evening at 7:30 p.m. The meeting, which will be televised live and rebroadcast on University Television Channel 13, will be devoted to discussion of the topic of diversity, and will be hosted by Interim President Claire Fagin and Interim Provost Marvin Lazerson. Eighty students were randomly selected to participate in the town meeting, which will be held in Bodek Lounge at Houston Hall. -Cara Tanamachi
