Eight freshmen were elected to the Undergraduate Assembly during elections Monday and Tuesday. Results were released last night. Wharton freshmen Omar Gonzalez, Riley McCormack and Nancy Solnik also were elected. Gonzalez, as the top vote getter, will serve as a new member of University Council, the president's advisory body. "It's a great honor to be on such a council representing my class," Gonzalez said. "I will try my hardest to represent them." UA member Dan Schorr said the turnout was among the highest in recent years for a freshmen election. – Jordana Horn
