Thefts ·September 8 A student had $500 taken from his wallet when he left it unattended in the foyer of his house on 42nd Street between Walnut and Locust streets while he was moving in at about 5:43 p.m. ·September 9 Six Macintosh Power Book computers, valued at approximately $13,000, were stolen from an unsecured area of the Class of 1923 Ice Rink on Walnut Street at about 2:03 p.m. The computers belonged to The Book Store.
