Be cautious. Don't let your house, apartment or dorm room look like an easy target for criminals. Don't let yourself look like an easy target. After dark, travel in groups and/or use Escort Service (898-RIDE). Don't hesitate to call University Police if you need additional assistance. For on-campus emergencies, dial 511 or 898-7333. For off-campus emergencies, call 573-3333. For general questions and concerns, call 898-7297 or 898-7298. Of course, there's no need to lock yourself in your room with a whole campus and city at your disposal. Two ideas worth repeating: register to vote -- for information about Philadelphia registration, call 686-1509 -- and check out the brand-spanking-new Camden Aquarium just across the Delaware -- for more information, call (609) 365-3300. We'll leave the rest of the details up to you, but have a relaxing, enjoyable and safe break. It will probably be over before you realize anyone left.
