Created under Gutmann’s Penn Compact 2020, the Prizes grant students up to $100,000 to implement their projects the year after graduation, as well as $50,000 for each student to stipend living expenses. 

Introduced as 'Penn’s own,' Biden engaged in a dialogue with Penn President Amy Gutmann about international affairs, cancer, and the presidential administrations.

The forum comprised of three sections, Requiem, Reform, and Rebirth, each with three to four students and a professor moderator, totaling to 11 students or undergraduate fellows presenting their long-term research projects.  

After students walked out of Anthropology Professor Lawrence Rosen's class in protest, various administrators from Princeton University have spoken out in his defense. 

“I think it's wonderful to see the manifestation of a couple that can have fun together especially while doing academically-rigorous work," said Jennifer Beatty, a Penn graduate who knows the couple.
