This past Friday, the Black Wharton Undergraduate Association presented members of the Philadelphia Student Union an award for their efforts in improving the West Philadelphia education system.

Penn Latin and Ballroom Dance teamed up this past Sunday with Student Ambassadors of the World to raise money for the construction of a V-Day safe house in Haiti and for the Penn Japan Relief fund.

Saturday marked the annual celebration of the Girl Scouts World Thinking Day, an awareness campaign designed to give elementary school-aged scouts the opportunity to experience new cultures.
