One year removed from a third-place finish in the Ivy League and a 13th consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament, Penn women’s lacrosse enters the 2020 season with high expectations. 

Penn enters the season as the No. 6 team in the country, and fans and pundits alike are excited to see how the program builds off its most successful season in recent memory.

From 1990 to 2000, Donahue worked on head coach Fran Dunphy’s staff and proved himself to be an integral part of one of the most successful stretches in Penn basketball history. 

In the season finale for both teams, Penn fell to arch-rival Princeton by the score of 28-7, but that point differential resulted not from a disparity in talent or ball control but rather from several key fourth down opportunities. 

At the half of the final game of 2019, Penn football and arch-rival Princeton are locked in a tight contest, with the score 10-7 in favor of the Tigers.

The trip from JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. to the University of Pennsylvania is a long one — 2,700 miles long.

After evening up its overall record last Saturday with a win over Sacred Heart, Penn football looks to do the same with the Ivy portion of the schedule.

But unfortunately for the Quakers, those touchdowns were not distributed evenly, as Penn fell to Dartmouth, 28 to 15, in the Ivy League opener. 

After two quarters, Penn football trails Dartmouth, 21-7, in the Ivy League opener for both teams. 

Throughout coach Ray Priore’s time with the program, Penn football has produced a disproportionate amount of the best tailbacks in the Ivy League.
