After receiving a set of guidelines known as a “Dear Colleague” letter from the United States Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights in April 2011, the OSC has made several revisions to its sexual misconduct policy in Penn’s Student Code of Conduct.

Students at Penn’s approximately 40 fraternities and sororities that have houses can choose to live within their Greek house after their freshman year. For some freshmen, though, the decision as to whether to “go Greek” for housing has been a confusing one.

The Wharton Veterans Club had strong representation at the first annual Undergraduate and MBA 5K Race for Charity, which was co-hosted by the Wharton Council and the Wharton Roadrunners & Triathletes Club.

More than half of the class of 2012 obtained full-time paid internships last summer. Overall, more internship offers came during March, April and May for students in the College, Nursing and Engineering schools. In culmination of Africa Fest Week, Penn students gathered to promote African culture and raise awareness about their activities on campus. The event showcased several performers, including Penn a capella group PAPA and Rafiya’s African soul band from Philadelphia.

The Undergraduate Assembly filled out the remainder of its executive board late Thursday night, with College sophomore Will Smith, College junior Jake Shuster and College freshman Joyce Kim winning internal elections for the positions of speaker, treasurer and secretary, respectively.
