The Latest

Penn basketball’s season comes down to its final three games. The first two are home against Brown and Yale, while the last is on the road against Princeton. The Quakers can’t afford to lose any of the three.

Students throughout campus will participate in a student walkout March 1 at 1 p.m. organized as part of the National Day of Action for Education, which is sponsored by the Occupy movement.

When College and Wharton junior Anand Gopal received an email from College junior Rebecca Yee about the newest Greek organization on campus — biological honors society Phi Sigma — he admitted he was a bit hesitant.

Archbishop Charles Chaput announced on Feb. 24 that with the help of $12 million donated to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the high school, along with three others, will be spared from closure. A portion of the donations will be given to each school.

On Tuesday, the University announced in the Penn Almanac that coverage for transgender benefits will be extended to include sexual reassignment surgery under the Aetna Point of Service II plan.
