WHAL aims to utilize healthcare analytics to improve the accessibility and quality of healthcare.

The program — called Grassroots and founded by Wharton senior Lawrence Freymovitch — launched an eight-week financial empowerment class through The Wharton School on Nov. 3, the first such initiative after the program shut down due to COVID-19 in 2020.

The group accused Penn of neglecting to support dissenting voices on the Israel-Hamas war and promised to hold programming in response to the University's failures. 

Notable changes in the last five years include reducing carbon emissions, adding electric vehicles to Penn Transit’s fleet, and developing academic collaborations.

Students told the DP that the vigil was organized to offer people a sense of community while mourning the deaths in Gaza.

NAP kicked off their programming on Nov. 2 with an Indian Taco night. 

The application period for rising juniors and seniors opened on Oct. 31 and is set to close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 21, for the 2024-25 academic year. 

The letter was also sent to schools including Yale, Harvard, Georgetown, Cornell, UC Berkeley, and Cooper Union.   

The Center’s projects include aiming to enhance vision assessments for at-risk groups and researching machine learning techniques for vision evaluation.

From Nov. 13 to 17, the UMC will be hosting a revival of Unity Week in honor of the group's 45th anniversary.

The grant is a part of the United States Department of Defense’s Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative announced in March, which awards $220 million to research studies nationwide. 

Magill said that Penn is working with local and federal authorities to investigate recent antisemitic acts and forms of hate on campus.

The award, presented by Dean of Perelman School of Medicine J. Larry Jameson, recognizes an exceptional individual or collaborative team whose research pursuits have resulted in transformative discoveries in the global landscape of healthcare.

Room change offers were sent out on Oct. 5 and Oct. 26, with the last round expected to be released on Nov. 16.

The incident took place at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 28, and Penn Police were notified of the theft and responded at 7:28 p.m., DPS said. 

The walkout opened with calls for a ceasefire, restoration of water and electricity in Gaza, and an end to United States and University aid to Israel.

During the three-day event, attendees participated in events that highlighted the school’s offerings.
