The Daily Pennsylvanian

9/11 10th Anniversary Issue

The Daily Pennsylvanian

I've spent the bulk of the last two summers in Philadelphia. Same house, same bedroom, (unfortunately) same landlord. Same car that won't start when I want to go home for the weekend. Same trips to 7-11 for donuts when I'm bored. Same. Old. Shit. It's not all the same though.

I ordered the party hats and balloons. The cake has already arrived. When I heard the news about Keenan Jeppesen's transfer being denied, it felt like it was time to throw myself a party. Finally a victory for guys like me. In a world where it seems that college athletes have privileges to no end, it was a victory for guys like me, who have no athletic talent beyond the ability to run for a couple of hours without stopping.

Walking down 36th Street, one can see various locales of Penn's campus: the Bookstore, Cosi, the Institute of Contemporary Art. Yet one location on campus that is oft-overlooked is on the second floor of 133 S. 36th Street. You might have no idea what building I am referring to, but you've probably all seen it.
