Three top-10 finishes highlight tourney win Both Penn golf teams were in action this past weekend. The men's squad competed in the George Washington Invitational and the women competed at the William and Mary Invitational in Williamsburg. The men's team won its tournament, beating out 24 teams.

Geoffrey See's creation of the EduHealth program opened two doors. One was for himself, and the other is for hundreds of West Philadelphia students both now and in the future. After arriving on campus this fall, the Wharton and College freshman has engaged in research relating to urban health education, ultimately developing a project known as EduHealth.

Bring on the Tigers. That was the overwhelming sentiment as the Quakers returned from their weekend trip to Virginia and now prepare to kick off their Ivy schedule against Princeton. The trip, which began with a 7-0 Penn defeat at the hands of William and Mary, ended on a high note as the Red and Blue cruised to a 5-2 victory over Old Dominion.

Day one of the NCAA Fencing Championships wasn't a banner event for Penn men's fencing. But if the lows were low, the highs were definitely high. Ron Berkowsky headlined the afternoon, going 12-2 in foil for a second-place finish in the event. The only foilist to have a better outing was Columbia's Kurt Getz, who finished at 13-1.

Gary Onufer, a patient at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvanian who previously lived without a heartbeat, was released from the hospital yesterday, according to an Associated Press report. Onufer, 46, received a Total Artificial Heart , an external device that is attached to the chest cavity in order to facillitate the pumping of blood, on Feb.

A revamped financial-aid package will now grant a no-loan financial aid policy to families earning $60,000 or less per year. This policy was announced by Vice President for Budget and Management Analysis Bonnie Gibson at the Board of Trustees Budget and Finance Committee meeting yesterday.

Curriculum facts To the Editor: I write to correct serious misrepresentations in a column on the College's new requirements ("Bottom of the Course Barrel," DP, 3/16/07). I did not characterize the "distributional" courses, which were eliminated from the new curriculum, as being more difficult than the ones remaining.

The Hanover Company, which owns the Domus luxury apartment complex on 34th and Chestnut streets, is currently in talks with several companies to fill the building's retail component. Wachovia Bank is slated to occupy a 5,000 square-foot space on the first floor, and Hanover is also looking to bring in two restaurants, a coffee shop and a sporting goods store, said Andi Pesacov, the real estate broker hired by Hanover.

At the end of their first year at Penn, when other freshmen were just trying to figure out how they were going to pack up all their belongings, Peter Handy and his business partner, Joseph Leary, were coming up with a new entrepreneurial concept that would help make the entire moving process a lot easier for their fellow students.
