Originally scheduled to open in early April, Capogiro Gelato is now slated for opening in the latter part of the month, according to owner John Reitano. The reason, he wrote in an e-mail, is that it is tough for a "family-owned small business . to grow in a challenging economic environment.

Domenique Wilson, the suspect in the home invasion and sexual assault at 44th and Spruce streets last December, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on a number of criminal counts that include an attack on three students at Lock Haven University. Wilson is scheduled for arraignment on April 27, according to the Clinton County District Attorney's Office, and will enter a plea at that time.

The Blue Jays know how to put up a fight. So as the No. 2 Penn women's lacrosse team enters its ninth game of the season against unranked Johns Hopkins, they expect to hear the foul whistle a lot. "They're very physical so we're going to have to be able to handle that," coach Karin Brower said.

"Our customers used to want a big shopping bag with our label on it to carry around after their purchase. Under the hats are fraternity brothers and sorority sisters celebrating Day One of the five-day fiesta known as Greek Weekend. The Weekend, now in its 11th year at Penn, marks an extended celebration of Greek unity and community service and features six events over the course of the weekend.
