Last week, my friend sent me a New York Times article about the value high school students place on leadership. Because of the perceived focus on traditional leadership in college admissions, students prioritize leadership in the vein of “political or business power” — defining leaders based on their authority and dominance.









The City of Philadelphia is responsible for testing the sources of drinking water, which Philadelphia Water Department spokesperson Laura Copeland said is “clean and safe to drink,” but problems with the drinking water could arise from the old pipes and brass faucets.



Among Penn fencing's top NCAA Championship performances over the weekend was that of sophomore epee Justin Yoo, who finished second in the nation in his favored event. 

On Sunday, Penn fencing closed out its season at the 2017 NCAA Fencing Championships at the Indiana Farmers’ Coliseum. The Quakers came home with an eighth-place finish, scoring 107 points in the co-ed team championship tournament.
