This past weekend, the 12th biannual PennApps was held at the Wells Fargo Center. The world’s largest and first student-run collegiate hackathon, this year's event was largest to date, with over 2,000 participants from 147 universities across 11 countries.

Class Board, Penn Traditions and the Penn Hindu Student Council/Young Jains of America held Holi, a full-fledged color and music festival inspired by the Hindu spring festival. Students received colored powder and counted down until 3 pm, when they simultaneously threw their colors into the air and at each other.

Penn's oldest residential program, the Science and Technology Wing (STWing), held its annual Rube Goldberg competition this past weekend. The competition pit teams of students against each other to build a device that could dip an Oreo into milk. Judges included MEAM professor Dr. Mark Yim, CIS professor Max Mintz, and MEAM lecturer Graham Wabiszewski. STWing is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this academic year.
